Privacy on the guide
The guide has no accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no ad trackers.
What happens when you read a page
The pages are served by Vercel, a hosting company based in the United States. Like any web server, it sees your IP address, browser details and the page you asked for, and keeps them in short-lived logs for security and troubleshooting. We do not use those logs to profile anyone, and we do not combine them with anything else.
Cloudflare answers the DNS lookup for the domain. It does not see the pages you read.
The forum is separate
Accounts, suggestions and memberships live on the forum, which runs on servers in Cape Town. It has its own privacy notice, which goes up before sign-ups open.
Links to other sites
Guides link to government and official pages, and the footer links to Imbertech, which runs this site. Those sites have their own privacy rules.
